The Waste Land

In the short eight months since my whirlwind departure from university to actually being in the industry I have been adjusting from student to graduate life. I have been to a few 'graduate' events and seminars, all on the steady road to becoming chartered. Up until now I have still felt very safe in my grace period where my label as 'graduate' has been a safety net when I've been struggling or unsure. When I saw the chance to volunteer at a proper 'grown up' technical conference I couldn't have volunteered fast enough, a chance to crack into the world beyond simply 'graduate'.
