Last issue we asked: What does it mean to be a nuclear professional? A: Being a nuclear professional means you are an ambassador for the industry, whether in Civil, Defence or R&D. It means challenging decisions and practices at every level, contributing to a safety culture that extends from the pile cap right down to the car park, and being a part of the quest for low carbon, safe, sustainable and affordable energy. We must drive the industry forward through knowledge management and collaboration, learning from mistakes of the past and growing our industry in line with the global demand for nuclear professionals.
