An exact solution is given for a plane nonmonoenergetic nonrelativistic electron flow with hyepr- bolic trajectories in a homogeneous magnetic field perpendicular tot he flow plane. A solution to the external problem is constructed and parametric equations are presented for equipotential surfaces that define the beam- forming electrodes. It is shown that a hyperbolic flow cannot be realized without introducing charged plates with the potential varying by a parabolic law. The characteristic features of the solution are formulated that can be used for testing the trajectory analysis programs.
