Propagation of magnetostatic surface waves (MSSWs) in a ferrite film magnetized by a transversely nonuniform field, whose intensity varies along the coordinate axis normal to the field direction, is considered. The behavior of the wave number and phase- and group-velocity vectors is investigated at various frequencies.
