Authoring Methods for Creating Courseware of Intelligent CAI System CALAT

摘要

This paper describes authoring methods for creating the courseware of the intelligent CAI sys- tem CALAT, which provides a self-learning type service on the WWW. The main purpose of the authoring system is to reduce the cost of developing and maintaining courseware that contains both declarative and procedural knowledge in the domain. This aim can be archived by introducing a simple and powerful representation of the material knowledge and establishing the design flows of the courseware.
