CFIT: Unstabilized approach led to controlled flight into terrain.

History of the flight: On June 16, 2016, at 0830 eastern daylight time, a Piper PA-31-325 was destroyed when it collided with terrain while on approach to University Park Airport (UNV), State College, Pennsylvania. The airline transport pilot and the passenger were fatally injured. The airplane was owned and operated by Aeronational, Inc. Instrument meteorological conditions prevailed, and an IFR flight plan was filed for the on-demand air taxi flight, which was conducted under Part 135. The flight departed Washington County Airport (AFJ), Washington, Pennsylvania, about 0800.
