Two new speech enhancement techniques are proposed in this paper. The first one is an extension of the spectral subtraction with wavelet transformation. The second one is a technique using Kalman filter which is the minimum means square error filter for non-stationary signal. Computer simulations and hearing tests show that the proposed methods can achieve better speech enhancement performance than conventional methods under the same environments.
