Lenzing steps up nonwovens capacity

Austria's Lenzing Group has announced record highs in the first half of the financial year 2017 for both its revenues and earnings. According to the company, its revenues rose by 11% year-on-year to €1.15bn, while EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) increased by 38.8% to €270.7m. The development of its nonwoven operations continued through the first six months of the year, with production capacity increasing in Turkey, China, Western Europe and the US.
