Asselin-Thibeau has released its new SDV-2 random velour needleloom. The H.D system provides a unique flexibility, enabling owners to play with the needle pattern to optimize the needling effect on the nonwoven or woven fabric. For automotive applications, it is well accepted that the first needle board makes the loop shape when the following board provides the richness of surface aspect. Consequently, the first needle board's needles must be distributed with a relatively opened pattern, keeping open space for the fibre to move without break-ing. Refering to the second needle board, a high density needle pattern enhances the uniformity and the productivity of the equipment. The SDV-2 H.D is meeting ideally these requirements.
