A City Planning Method of Tsurumi Area Redevelopment

Tsurumi waterfront is isolated from city area by traf- fic infrastructure and inhibited arbitrary change of use by governmental laws. NKK finished facility restruc- turing and environmental plant exploratory zone build- ing at Tsurumi Works, in the last fiscal year, and now environmental improvement is ongoing. The area's re- development long-term plan would have three steps, concerning traffic improvement and deregulation which are predictable from governmental policy making.
