For an iraqi family, no other choice," read the Wasington Post's front-page headline last Friday. The story is of an Iraqi father whose village forced him to kill his son. The son had allegedly helped the American Army. "Even the Prophet Abraham did not have to kill his son," the man said tearfully. It's a harrowing picture of Iraq today. But here's another snapshot, another father-son story, on page 14 of the same newspaper. This father surrendered his son to the Americans because the boy, a teenager who enjoyed alcohol and gunplay, had shot an antitank weapon at a U.S. armored vehicle.
