Having risen to parity or more in the polls, he made an impromptu trip to a pitcher's mound at Comerica Park and confidently threw some batting practice for the Tigers. Later, at a big fund-raiser across the street, he was as loose as he was at the ballpark. "You ain't seen nothin' yet!" he told a cheering crowd.
