More and Sons' Bush Tramway

It has been a tong time since the New Zealand Railway Observer published any information on the bush tramway which ran from the Longwood railway siding to the forests in the Pourakino Valley in Western Southland. This is a summary of the former extensive operation and a report on recent developments.
