With its own new leadership structure in place, the institute has rejuvenated many of its training programmes as well as introducing a series of new bite-sized options for those struggling to fit professional development into their schedules. Capability Development Consultant Justine Harvie, who is the project manager for NZIM's management development framework, says she expects the institute's training will help many business leaders learn to adapt more effectively to change and challenges over the coming year. Harvie said NZIM worked closely with clients, doing needs analyses and discussing what they anticipated their organisational challenges would be in 2015. "We get inside the business to understand what they are doing and what they really need," she said.
