It's no surprise that there are high concentrations of geeks in Silicon Valley and other high-tech hubs. What is curiouser is that childhood autism is also unusually common in such areas.In the first study of its kind, researchers have compared autism-spectrum disorders (ASDs) among children in Eindhoven, the centre of the Dutch information technology industry, with two like-sized Dutch cities that have far fewer IT employees.
