Call it a brain trust. Neuroscientists from around the world agreed on 19 September to pool their efforts to understand the brain. Meeting in New York, they launched the Global Brain Initiative, which aims to coordinate research worldwide. This move was bolstered by the United Nations, which took the opportunity to unveil its International Brain Station, intended to serve as a global hub for storing and sharing data generated by the initiative.
