BSkyB has reinstated its broadband films-and-sports service following consultation with key content suppliers. Sky By Broadband, which allows subscribers to BSkyB's premium channels to watch some Sky Sports and Sky Movies content on their personal computers, was taken out of service for a month. It was removed in early September following the hack of the Microsoft Windows Media digital rights management (DRM) system that protected the content (NMM September 15, 2006).
