Channels face axe in Swedish DTT shake-up

The Swedish government is set to shake up the country's digital-terrestrial platform later this month, and some of the 31 channels carried at present may be axed. The government, which will award spectrum for three new channels, is expected to increase the free-to-air component of the platform, which has signed up around 500,000 homes in the six years since launch.
