High idTV returns worry manufacturers

Manufacturers are concerned that integrated television sets, designed to receive digital-terrestrial signals, are suffering from customer return rates as high as 20 per cent. Problems can result from customers using equipment in fringe areas where the standard of digital-terrestrial reception may fluctuate. Other returns are due to substandard roof-top aerials or poor wiring compromising the reception.
