HD-Ready TV sets may not work for BSkyB

Some television sets sold in the UK as being ready for high-definition may not work with the service that BSkyB is due to launch later this year, an industry association warned this week. The Digital Television Group said that manufacturers were interpreting standards differently and, as a result, some television sets that carry the "HD-Ready" logo might not be able to display BSkyB's high-definition television (HDTV) programmes.
