Cable operators discuss digital migration strategies

Some of Europe's major cable operators last week offered views on how best to migrate their customers to digital, but strategies on how to make the shift away from analogue television were widely divergent. Opinions were largely divided along geographical lines, with operators in the more mature western European markets typically favouring a softer approach than their central and eastern European colleagues.
