Canada is the home of hope for many people looking for a progressive, inclusive, open and pluralistic alternative to the rise of authoritarian nationalism amid the dysfunctions of disruptive, highly financialised and starkly unequal global capitalism.So I feel privileged over the past year to have had the opportunity to work with a group of 20 Canadian social entrepreneurs through the ALT/Now programme run at the Banff Centre, in Banff, Alberta - an extraordinary centre for culture, leadership and new ideas, nestled in the Rockies.
