Former Atkins chief executive Keith Clarke left an ambitious legacy as he wrapped up his two year long Brunei lecture series entitled "The delivery of a low carbon society: beyond rhetoric?" Addressing an audience at ICE headquarters Clarke, an ICE Fellow, challenged the industry to step up and seize on the opportunity to drive the creation of a low carbon society created by years of hard work to promote the need for engineers. "We have finally moved beyond the rhetoric, he said.
