Microsoft has been sitting on a cash pile of $56 billion and last week the company took analysts' advice and decided to return some of that money to shareholders over the next four years and to buy back stock. While the decision is a lesson in pragmatism and fiscal responsibility Microsoft's end users have a few choice ideas of what the company could have used the cash for, disregarding any Securities and Exchange Commission regulations, of course.
