Microsoft sets launch of IT migration tools

Before it launches Windows Server 2008 and Vista SP1, Microsoft plans to ship tools late this month so IT shops can get their networks in order and ease planned migrations. The Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Solution Accelerator is designed to help IT shops inventory their network, assess their infrastructure's readiness for a migration, and generate reports and recommendations.
