This is my first "President's Page" in a Naval Engineers Journal being published entirely under the management of the ASNE team. As has been painfully aware to me, and you as well, we have been seriously lagging in getting the journal out in a timely manner. This tome, Volume 124, Issue 1, is to be known as the March 2012 issue. We have printed the date and issue number on the spine, and with the staff and the newly constituted Editorial Board led by Dr. Cliff Whitcomb of the Naval Postgraduate School working diligently, I look forward to seeing these journals arrive regularly in a timely manner. The new system is still evolving and we welcome your suggestions to refine and improve it.
