THE TOUR OF THE BONNET CARRE Spillway on May 15 heralded the beginning of the ASNE Central Gulf Coast Section's emergence from COVID restrictions and its return to normalcy. This outdoor event, presented by Mr. Ricky Boyett, New Orleans Chief of Public Affairs, USACE, did not require masks or spacing requirements and was attended in normal person-to-person conduct as in pre-pandemic times. Additionally, Mr. Rusty Monsun, Ranger, USACE, was on hand to provide security and physical assistance as needed.
