Preparing for Herd Immunity

T'S BEEN A YEAR SINCE THE FIRST C0VID-19 case was diagnosed in the United States and nearly a year since we collectively acknowledged the need to behave differently in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Much has changed over the past year, and quickly. On the one hand, we have demonstrated resilience by adapting to the pandemic circumstances as we have. On the other hand, the need to change and resistance to change has been politicized in a nation where political battle lines have been drawn and intolerance for "the other side" has led to violent protest. Who could ever have guessed that we would see our own fellow Americans kicking in the doors and windows of our United States Capitol?
