LIKE MANY OF US IN HIGH SCHOOL, Marjorie Morley didn't quite know what she wanted to do in her future - growing up on the Pacific coast, she just knew she wanted to live and work near the ocean. Little did she know, she would eventually spend more time over the ocean rather than on it. As one of 81 pioneering women in 1976, she dared to go where no woman had gone before - to the United States Naval Academy (USNA). Her tenacity and resilience instilled by her parents, served her well in persevering in an environment that tested the mettle of trailblazing women.
