The Keio Medical Science Prize is awarded to researchers in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the fields of medical or life sciences. For 2009, the Keio Medical Science Prize Selection Committee welcomes medical sciences or life sciences related to the field of medicine. The award ceremony will be held in November, 2009 and the prize consists of a certificate of merit, a medal and a monetary award of 20 million yen (approx.US$220,000 as of January).
