When Physicist Horatiu Nastase accepted a permanent position in Sao Paulo two years ago, none of his colleagues considered Brazil as a career option. A lot has changed since then. "Now, many more are thinking about coming here," says the Romanian string theorist. The 40-year-old has no plans to leave his research position at Sao Paulo State University.
