Johnsons get stone's first'Responsible Sourcing' certificate

Johnsons Wellfield Quarries (JWQ) have become the first independent stone producers in the UK to achieve the BRE's BES 6001 certification for responsible sourcing of stone. At the same time they have gained the BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) certification. This means JWQ products offer maximum points / credits available within the Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) and BREEAM documents, giving engineers and architects the highest possible contribution to a building's environmental profile.
