The Heads of Workers' Compensation Authorities (HWCA) have endorsed a new strategy aimed at coordinating workers' compensation across Australia and New Zealand.rnThe three-year strategy, signed off on October 2, aims to improve service delivery and develop sustainable workers' compensation schemes.rnTo meet these aims, the jurisdictions will focus on implementing best practice and evidence-based injury management and return to work initiatives, efficient claims management, engagement with third-party service providers, research and identification of emerging trends.
