Coordination of work to manage these risks is complicated by the number of different parties involved in a building project, with subcontractors running last in a long line of circumstances and events over which they have very little control.rnAlthough subcontractors tend to be at the end of the line, they are an important part of the construction industry and the Australian economy, so their influence shouldn't be taken for granted. According to ABS statistics, subcontractors account for up to 90 per cent of the work carried out on a construction site and on any given site there can be around 30 different trades involved.
