When thinking of professions most at risk of workplace violence and threats, often policing, health and social services come to mind, but recently it was Australia's leading climate change scientists and researchers who had their personal safety threatened. Many received threatening emails, phone calls and even had property defaced as the debate about climate change and the carbon tax heated up.
