COLA Increase Set for Military Retired Pay

Most military retirees will receive a 1.6% increase to their retired pay beginning with the New Year. The annual cost-of-living adjustments for military retirees and survivors have been announced by the Defense Department. The adjustments will be applied to retired pay and annuities for survivors of service members who died on active or inactive duty starting Jan. 1.
