NTSA Presents Best Paper Awards at Annual Conference

The National Training and Simulation Association in December presented its best paper awards at the Interser-vice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Orlando, Florida. The I/ITSEC 2016 Best Paper winner was "Individual Officer Encounters with the Public: A Novel Process for Developing Metrics That Measure What Police Do," by Bryan Vila, Ph.D.; Stephen M. James, Ph.D.; and Lois James, Ph.D. It competed in the Human Performance Analysis and Engineering category. The Best Paper Award is the most prestigious honor given out at the conference.
