The process of drug discovery in the modern scientific aspect is very complex. It integrates many disciplines, including biotechnology, medicine and pharmacology. Rapid advances in these areas led to the revolutionary change in discovery new drugs. A time consuming strategy has to be performed from the discovery new effective substances to their commercial use. Generally, the whole process can be identify by drug discovery, design and development stages. Over the last decade, innovative research has produced a new tool for all three stages. The superparamagnetic properties of the magnetic micro- and nanoparticles have opened promising new perspectives for their application in this area. It is currently being recognised that magnetic micro- and nanotechnology could play an important role in all areas related with drug discovery, design and development.
