Unlike states that have famous sightings and crashes associated with them, Connecticut is often assumed by people to be a quiet state for UFO activity. But Connecticut has very active skies, and with spillover from the famous Hudson Valley flap of the 1980s, Connecticut's UFO history is a rich one. A majority of cases are abductions, orbs, and triangles. Michael Panicello has been the State Director of MUFON Connecticut since 2013 and a general MUFON member since May 2012. He is a certified Field Investigator, Star Team member and ham radio operator, callsign KB1ZHB. Michael also runs a Bigfoot research group in Connecticut. His interest in ufology started when he was a kid watching television documentaries on secret military aircraft, which usually referenced the use of reversed alien technology in military craft. Michael has a bachelor of arts in history and journalism and a master's in history. As a historian, Michael tries to instill the use of primary sources and documented evidence in field investigations and UFO research. He became an Fl on 06/22/2012.
