Today the Journal One-On-One sits down with Les Velez. Les has held the positions of Field Investigator, Training Coordinator for field investigators, Assistant State Director in Northern California, Chairman of the AERC (Abduction Experi-encer Research Committee), and team leader of the ART (Abduction Response Team). He is a graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. Les served in the U.S. Army, in September of 1970 as field artillery officer and was VP of Luscombe Engineering, a Silicon Valley-based manufacturer's representative company. Les joined MUFON in 1991. He has been a speaker at the MUFON Symposium in Denver. During this time, he became a facilitator for an abduction support group in San Jose California. In 1994 he co-founded OPUS (Organization for Paranormal Understanding and Support), online at opusnetwork. org. Les is also Chairman at OPUS. He has appeared on Coast to Coast AM with George Knapp, Phenomenon Radio with Linda Moulton Howe, Midnight in the Desert with Heather Wade, Open Minds UFO Radio with Alejandro Rojas, UFONAUT Radio with Jesse Randolph, as well as various local public access TV productions.
