Because the Betty and Barney Hill case is the only abduction case I discuss at length in my normal lectures, I am often asked about abductions especially during radio shows and after lectures. The usual question is along the lines of "Where do you stand?". My normal response, like so many others to broad questions, is "It depends. Each case, as with all UFO sightings, must be taken on its own merits." I also try to insist that the proper question aboutrnUFOs , in general, is are any UFOs ET spacecraft, NOT are all. I use the analogy that because some people are 7' tall does NOT mean all people are. Because the great majority of isotopes are NOT fissionable doesn't mean none are. That is a good thing for a nuclear guy.
