2011 is nearly over, and MUFON has had a positive and eventful year. Thanksgiving is the time to step back and reflect on the many great things that have happened to us personally and within MUFON. This is the time to enjoy family, friends, and give thanks for our many blessings. I certainly am thankful for all of MUFON's volunteers and donors. Without all of you, MUFON would not be as successful as we are. I and MUFON thank you for all you have done to make MUFON a success. UFO sighting reports to MUFON have been on the increase. This is an exciting development. August showed a significant increase in the number of sighting reports to MUFON and to other UFO-reporting organizations. In fact, 1,013 sightings were reported to MUFON in August, and 783 in September. MUFON typically averages 500 sighting reports per month.
