Case study of projected Image

I was recently presented with a case where the witness had submitted what at first seemed like a very compelling photograph. I am referring to MUFON Case #63427, in which the witness using her iPhone photographed what appeared to be a brightly illuminated, triangular-shaped object among the clouds. The witness had just parked her car near her residence in Playa del Rey, California, when a bright flash in the sky caught her attention. As she watched it, it faded away when the clouds moved in obscuring it. She quickly got her iPhone ready to take a picture, and waited to see if it would appear again. As the clouds briefly parted again, there it was! She took a picture as fast as she could, just in case it disappeared again, which indeed it did as soon as the clouds moved in again.
