Advanced propulsion workshop - Estes Park

I had the distinct honor this past month to attend a select gathering of the world's top scientists and engineers working on advanced propulsion techniques designed to take humans to the stars. The Advanced Propulsion Workshop took place September 20th - 23rd at the YMCA Conference Center in Estes Park, CO and was sponsored by the Space Studies Institute (ssi.org) headed by Executive Director Gary Hudson. The workshop was created with the help of Dr. James Woodward, and Dr. Heidi Fearn, both from California State University Fullerton (CSUF), and Lance Williams with Konfluence. org. They were joined by an impressive line-up of talent including NASA Eagleworks engineer Paul March, who reported on experiments carried out on the EmDrive "in a vacuum chamber, to prevent the anomalous effect of thermal convection" and Prof. Martin Tajmar, chair for Space Systems at the Dresden University of Technology, who just last year presented an independent confirmation of the anomalous EmDrive thrust.
