Giovanni (Gio) Canu is a marine industry leader with more than 25 years of experience working within large-scale shipping and cruise ship fleets. As a marine engineer, he leverages extensive technical knowledge of ships' systems and a deep understanding of the cruise ship industry in all its aspects. As vice president of technical operations with Norwegian Cruise Line in Miami, FA, a position he has held since March 2015, Canu's responsibilities encompass overall technical and financial management of 15 active cruise ships (ranging from 90,000 to 160,000 GRT).
