Apparently not content with the level of iPhone integration in modern cars already, Apple has announced "iOS in the Car," a new version of its iOS mobile software designed to replace your car's infotainment functions with your iPhone starting next year. Based on Apple's new iOS 7 operating system and Siri voice control software, iOS in the Car will work with touch and voice control. It will allow hands-free calls, read text messages aloud, respond to text messages via voice inputs, play music from your phone, and provide navigation with turn-by-turn directions and 3-D maps.
