Docking 101

Let's face it. docking makes everybody nervous, at least until you've gotten a lot of salt water under your belt, and even then there are times you'd rather be doing something else (like mowing the lawn or getting a root canal). There are problems with wind, current, narrow slips, whatever. Single-screw boats are different from twin-screw boats, inboards are different from stern-drives and outboards, and jet drives are in a world of their own.
