TSBs let service personnel know about changes required in a vehicle's specifications or service procedures, assembly-line mistakes, or errors in previous service publications. Nearly every vehicle on the road today has been covered by a technical service bulletin, or TSB. These notices cover every automotive system, from vital to trivial. (Is a bulletin about curing a noisy weatherstrip or static-prone audio system trivial? Motorists can live with them, but both involve customer satisfaction.)
