We can report that February 2017 was a busy month, which saw the majority of transactions take place in the smaller tonnage sectors, such as Handysize and Supramax. In the Capesize sector, only two vessels exchanged hands, and they were both over 10 years old. The first was the "Shin Zui" (180,200 dwt, bit 2007, Koyo), which was purchased by clients of Golden Union for US$15.7m. The other vessel was the "Teh May" (175,058 dwt, bit 2004, Shanghai Waigaoqiao) to non-Greek European buyers for US$10.8m.
