Agreat man once said that if there is a motorsport venue in heaven, it looks like Shelsley Walsh. OK it may have been me, but I stand by that statement, and hope that one day I'm proved right, but not just yet! For what finer place on God's Green Earth is there to meet pals and legends, and drive or watch beautiful powerful cars up a track a so steep that it could almost be a stairway to heaven itself. The views from the hill are some of England's finest, so beautiful are they that the Welsh once tried to have them for their own. (The clue is in the name!). But I digress, heavenly the vistas may be, but this weekend they were as hot as Hades. However, heat and sunlight are not good for Covid, so perhaps that was all part of the plan!
